Ring size

Measure a ring you already own if you can; print our sizer if you cannot; wrap a strip of paper if you must. If it is still wrong, exchange it within 30 days with no restocking fee.

Three ways to measure

A ring that already fits that fingerLay it on a ruler and read the inside width in millimeters at the widest point. Find it in the chart below. This is the most exact way.
The printable sizerPrint this page at 100 percent (no "fit to page"). Check the 5 cm bar against a ruler, then slide the ring over the circles until one just fits inside the band.
A strip of paperCut a strip 5 mm wide. Wrap it snug where the ring will sit, over the knuckle if the knuckle is bigger. Mark where it overlaps, measure the length in millimeters, and match the "around" column.

Band width changes the fit

A wide band covers more finger, so it feels tighter than a thin one in the same size. For bands over 3 mm wide, go up a quarter or half size. For thin bands under 2 mm, your usual size or a touch smaller. Each product lists its band width in the spec table.

Measuring for someone else

Borrow a ring they wear on that finger for an hour and measure the inside width, or press it into a bar of soap and measure the impression.
Ask a friend or family member who might know.
If you have nothing to go on, order a 6 for most women and a 10 for most men, and exchange it if needed.

Send an unworn ring back within 30 days of delivery and we exchange it for the right size. No restocking fee.

Fingers are bigger in the evening and in summer. Measure at the end of a normal day.

Questions

How do I size a surprise ring?

Borrow a ring they wear on that finger, or ask someone close to them. Failing that, order a 6 (women) or 10 (men) and exchange it if needed.

What if I am between sizes?

Take the larger size for a band wider than 3 mm, the smaller one for a thin band.

Does my finger change size?

Yes, by up to half a size between a cold morning and a hot evening. Measure at the end of a normal day.

What does a wrong size cost me?

No fee on an unworn catalog ring: exchange it within 30 days of delivery, no restocking fee. Engraved rings are final sale.

Printable sizer

Print at 100 percent. Check the bar first.

If the bar is not exactly 5 centimeters on a ruler, the print scaled. Turn off "fit to page" and print again.

Slide the ring over a circle. The right size is the circle that just touches the inside of the band. Half sizes fall between two circles.
